Judy Donze, Secretary
Judy is the Secretary of the Child Protection Network Board. Before joining the CPN Board four years ago, Judy served on the board of the Livingston County Children’s Advocacy Center for 18 years. As a CPN board member Judy has facilitated the Blue Kid Giving Trees and Pinwheel Gardens for April Child Abuse Awareness month in Livingston, DeWitt and McLean counties.
Judy is retired from her 37 year career as a public school educator in Pontiac District #429. After teaching for 18 years in Special Education and Elementary Education, she worked as an Elementary School Principal and a Junior High Principal for 16 years. Judy earned both her Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Science in Educational Administration from Illinois State University.
Judy has served on the Board of the Institute for Human Resources in Livingston County and is currently serving on the OSF Healthcare Saint James Hospital Community Advisory Board. Other community volunteer work Judy is involved in include the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and various church organizations. Judy has completed training through AdvancEd and has served as an External Reviewer for AdvancEd.
Judy and her husband Gary live on their farm near Pontiac. Being semi retired has allowed them more time with their three children and spouses and their three grandchildren. As a mother, grandmother and educator, Judy has a commitment and passion for the mission of CPN.
