Elaine M. Carroll, M.D., Board Member
Dr. Carroll has been a Board member since moving to Bloomington in 2019. She is a physician at Carle BroMenn Medical Center specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine. She is a clinical associate professor at The Carle Illinois College of Medicine in Urbana. In addition, she is a graduate student at Loyola University Chicago working on her doctorate in Bioethics.
I became a Board Member when I moved to Bloomington because I wanted to get more involved in the community. I hope to use my knowledge, experience, and connections to further the goals of CPN.
CPN makes a positive impact by supporting the CASA (court appointed special advocate) program, ensuring that each child in the system has an adult looking out just for them, and becoming a special trusted adult in their loves. We also support The Child Advocacy Center where children and their families can receive many needed services. In addition to these two established programs, we offer grants to programs whose goals align with those of CPN in preventing and educating society about child abuse and neglect.
In her free time, Dr. Carroll enjoys traveling with family and friends, and reading cozy mysteries.
