Helena is a second-year graduate student at Illinois State University. Her background is in criminal justice and sociology.

"I am passionate about working with 'at-risk' youth, and I did not like the idea of locking kids up."

Helena enjoys mentoring and motivating children to set and achieve their goals. "I am a strong believer that there are no 'bad' children, only bad situations. I like to consider myself a person that looks at the bigger picture to figure out what is best for each situation."
